11/5/2008 2:27 AM bleejones (message) block delete reply I'm very proud of America! What a time for my children to grow up! I need to do a unit study on the civil rights movement! They have no idea what people of other races have gone through. My 9 year old does not get the significance. He's says, what' the big deal. He's just a man like any other. I LOVE that. He totally doesn't see the color!

11/5/2008 6:25 AM scgonzales (message) block delete reply I am not rejoicing.
11/5/2008 6:50 AM tuscansun5 (message) block delete reply I am very, very happy for the African-Amercian community and for America in that we have our first African-American president. Wonderful!!

I am not rejoicing in that I disagree with him on almost every single issue. I'm concerned for our country and the rights we now have will be curtailed and even squashed–success punished, mediocrity rewarded, our security as a nation in jeopardy, etc.

History shows he will very likely have one term only. Only FDR and Clinton were the only democrats re-elected in the past 100 years.
11/5/2008 7:41 AM Venicestar (message) block delete reply I'm thankful that God is in control of my families life! We are safe.
11/5/2008 8:20 AM scgonzales (message) block delete reply Me too! But it is bittersweet because of all the nastiness that it is bring out in people. Christians especially.
11/5/2008 9:08 AM linzi424 (message) block delete reply I agree with linzi424. I have no doubt at all that God has us in his well capable hands and it just saddens my heart to see Christians behaving in such hateful ways under the guise of "concern". Thank you so much for your prayers for our nation. Please keep them coming!
11/5/2008 11:04 AM PJsWife (message) block delete reply One thing for sure, change is on the way.

I'm disappointed but not shocked. I was fully expecting this based on the moral direction our country has been taking.
11/5/2008 1:39 PM SheBrews (message) block delete reply excited, but I am sure not for the same reasons…The Bible has shown that bad kings/leaders always drives God's people to their knees, I fully expect REVIVAL in America..
11/5/2008 5:34 PM cndloven (message) block delete reply @SheBrews – See, I think this is a great moral victory!
11/5/2008 9:19 PM EmergingMummy (message) delete reply @cndloven – well, president bush sure drove a lot of us to our knees so i suppose you're right!
