my own most-read post

In which “Jesus Feminist” has an official cover! :: (+ announcing who is writing the Foreword!)

But you know what? I haven’t ever been here before and I don’t know if I’ll be here again and so I’m just going to let myself be happy and dorky about the fact that my name is on the cover of a book and I wrote that book and I love that book so much and I’m excited about people actually reading it. So there may be more flailing freak-outs along the way, avert your eyes if you must.

I loved that Jen Hatmaker post! :-)

  • Danielle | from two to one

Thanks so much for including me, Sarah! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Jesus Feminist cover and cannot wait to read it and share it :)

    • Sarah Bessey

You’re welcome, Danielle – but it was an amazing piece. Loved every word.

do you like caitlin moran? i was a bit meh about How to Be a Woman, but find myself thinking often her opinions often . . . I think she has staying power. also: i WILL be cross-stitching some hyperbole and a half myself now.

    • Sarah Bessey

I love Caitlin Moran but I agree, wasn’t overly thrilled with How to Be a Woman. Well, certain bits were a riot but others were abominable. The one above is a collection of her best columns and it’s brilliant and funny and all over the map. you might like it a bit more, but she is definitely a bit different than my typical reading. (And FYI for the all the bad language.)

  • Alysa Bajenaru, RD

Hmm…I might need to make that cross stitch. Love it.

  • HopefulLeigh

Moran has been on my To Read list. Interested to hear what you think of the book.

  • Bill Kinnon

Thanks for the link love. And I can’t wait to read the book. Nice cover, eh!
