  • Well, my record holds: still unable to get through pow wow without crying. Gorgeous day here in Abbotsford for #nationalaboriginalday .... Filled with music, dancing, crafts, regalia, education, and handfuls of bannock that made our eyes roll back. We have a long way to go in reconciliation but days like today - a big old party celebrating First Nations with Metis and indigenous people, descendents of settlers/colonists, immigrants, and refugees - do give me a bit of hope that it might be possible. Here is to the prophetic dancing that happens on a long walk to shalom.
